Before you download

A Linux PC, your PS5, and an active membership. The app will guide you from there.

Download the package, open a terminal in your Downloads folder, and install it:

sudo apt install ./NinjaSaves-1.0.0-linux-amd64.deb

Then launch NinjaSaves from your applications menu as your normal user. Keep your desktop keyring unlocked to remember your login.

Do I need access?

Yes. You unlock access to download and use the desktop app. You can browse this page without an account; we’ll ask you to log in when you download.

Does the app need to be installed?

On Windows, run the installer. It installs NinjaSaves for your user account without administrator rights and keeps it up to date. A portable .exe is also available. Microsoft Edge WebView2 is required. On Linux, install the .deb package so its desktop dependencies and console connection permission are set up, then open NinjaSaves from your applications menu.

How do I update NinjaSaves?

The installed Windows app updates itself: it downloads and verifies updates in the background and installs them when no save transfer is running. A portable copy can switch to the installed app in one click. On Linux, install the new .deb over your current package. Your account settings are kept.

Which systems are supported?

Choose Windows x64 or Linux x64. The Linux package targets an updated Ubuntu 22.04 or newer, or Debian 12 or newer, with a graphical desktop and an unlocked system keyring. macOS is coming soon. ARM packages are not available yet.
