You can edit a supported Dragon’s Dogma 2 PS5 save without jailbreaking your PlayStation 5 using NinjaSaves. Import your own save with the desktop app, choose the edits offered for that save, and follow the guided return transfer. The process uses the PS5’s built-in Data Transfer; nothing needs to be installed on your console.

The Dragon’s Dogma 2 catalogue listed 21 options on 24 October 2026: 17 individual edits and four presets. This game is listed as Beta. That means the listing is available to explore, but compatibility and the options shown for your exact save still need checking. The live catalogue and the app take precedence over this dated guide.

What can you change in a Dragon’s Dogma 2 save?

The available controls focus on resources, character progression and pawn attributes. Choose the smallest change that addresses what you want to do; you do not need to apply every option at once.

Area Listed options Detail worth checking
Resources Gold, rift crystals and discipline points Discipline points and vocation rank experience have separate controls.
Inventory Carried & Stored Item Stack Quantity Changes an existing stackable item, not an arbitrary new item. The description requires an existing quantity of at least two and lists a range of 1–9,999.
Progression Character Level and Character Experience Level and experience are separate saved values; setting one is not a promise about every progression dependency.
Vocations Vocation Experience (Dcp) Targets experience for a specific vocation; read the selected target before applying.
Health and stamina Current & Recoverable HP, Current & Max Stamina, bonus HP and bonus stamina Current values and bonus attributes are different controls.
Character and pawn attributes Bonus Strength, Magick, Defense, Magick Defense, carry weight, knockdown power and resistance Review which character or pawn the app is targeting. Several labels explicitly use scaled values.

For example, the carry-weight description says its bonus is stored at a ×10 scale: 250 represents +25.0 kg. Follow the units and limits actually shown by the app rather than treating every number as an unscaled in-game value. Similarly, the catalogue lists Character Level from 1–999 and Character Experience from 0–999,999,999; these are editor bounds, not a recommendation to enter the largest possible number.

Individual edits or a preset?

An individual edit is useful when you want one deliberate adjustment, such as a gold balance. A preset groups related changes and is worth reviewing when you want a broader result.

The four listed presets are:

  • Boost currencies and discipline: raises smaller currency and discipline balances.
  • Restock existing stackable items to 99: raises existing carried or stored stackable quantities below 99. It does not describe adding items that are absent from the save.
  • Boost character & pawn levels, stamina, weight, and bonus stats: combines related progression and attribute adjustments without reducing higher values, according to its description.
  • Max all vocation rank experience: raises experience across all ten vocations to 99,999, described in the catalogue as unlocking Rank 9 vocations.

A preset is counted as one listed option in the 21-option total; it can contain several changes. It is not an extra set of 21 unique cheats on top of the individual controls. Review the app’s available choices and warnings before preparing the save.

How to edit your own PS5 save

  1. Check the game listing. Confirm that the title and save you have match a supported entry. The snapshot includes PPSA09663, PPSA09664 and PPSA09665; this is not a promise that every edition or future revision works.
  2. Get the desktop app. Use the current NinjaSaves downloads and put the computer and PS5 on the same home network.
  3. Import the save you want to keep playing. Follow the console prompts and choose the correct console user and save. Wait until the app confirms the import is stored before moving on.
  4. Choose your changes. Open the imported save, review the available edits, check character or pawn targets, and apply only the controls you intend to use.
  5. Prepare and return it. Follow the app’s transfer instructions and wait for confirmation that the PS5 received the save. A prepared file and a confirmed delivery are different stages.

Keep an important original backup before experimenting. If a transfer reports a problem, check that save’s status before starting it again. The workflow guide explains the transfer approach, and current pricing explains edited-save allowances. Importing and an edited-save delivery are not the same billing event.

NinjaSaves and GarlicSaves: what is different?

GarlicSaves advertises PS4 and PS5 save-processing utilities, including decryption, encryption and resigning. NinjaSaves’ documented PS5 workflow brings importing your own save, choosing supported edits and returning it into a guided desktop flow using built-in Data Transfer. No jailbreak is needed on your PS5 for that NinjaSaves workflow.

That is a workflow comparison, not a claim that GarlicSaves lacks editing tools or that every GarlicSaves customer needs a jailbroken console. For Dragon’s Dogma 2, compare the actual edit you want, the exact supported save and the steps you are comfortable following. A generic processing service and a particular game’s available cheat controls are different questions.

Editing your save is different from buying a completed save

This guide is about changing supported values in your own imported save. A ready-made 100% completed save is a different product with its own progress and compatibility requirements. If you want to continue your current character while adjusting resources or attributes, start with the game’s edit listing rather than assuming a completed-save product is required.

Common questions

Does Dragon’s Dogma 2 editing require a PS5 jailbreak?

No jailbreak is needed for NinjaSaves’ guided PS5 import and return workflow. You do need the desktop app, a suitable home-network connection and a supported save.

Can I add any item I want?

The listed stack-quantity edit changes qualifying existing stacks. Its description does not promise arbitrary item creation. Check the app’s detected targets rather than expecting an absent item to appear.

Does a listed cheat guarantee my save will work?

No. This title is marked Beta in the snapshot, and the game version and exact save matter. The app’s inspection and current catalogue determine what is offered. This guide does not promise trophies, online eligibility or compatibility with every update.
