Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 PS5 Save Editor Guide

NinjaSaves offers a PS5 save-editing workflow for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 without jailbreaking your console. Start with the part of your save you want to change

Expedition 33’s listing separates currency, inventory, character progression, tint upgrades, skills and appearance. That distinction helps you make a focused adjustment instead of applying every preset to a save you have already invested time in.

Chroma is the direct currency option. The 9,999,999 Chroma preset has a specific additional condition: it raises the balance to that figure without reducing a higher balance. You can therefore choose between reviewing the individual control and using the documented preset; they are not two unrelated currencies.

Inventory quantities works on records already present in the selected save. Visited merchant stock is similarly limited to merchants already visited. Neither description promises to create every item or populate merchants you have never encountered.

For broader changes, Character stats, weapon levels and Lumina, Picto learning, and Relationships are listed separately. Read the app’s current controls before selecting values, especially if you want to preserve the shape of your existing progression.

What the presets actually cover

Several preset names are useful shortcuts, but their descriptions matter more than the word “max.”

• Stock supplies raises existing tints, Recoats, Colour of Lumina, catalysts and Chroma packs to 999.
• Level 33 weapons and Pictos changes existing progression records. It does not grant missing weapons or Pictos.
• Level 99 characters changes existing character levels while leaving XP and story progression unchanged.
• Master existing Pictos marks existing Pictos as learned and raises their learning counters to at least four.
• Max tint strength sets existing healing, energy and revive tint upgrades to 2.

The 99 assigned attribute points preset also deserves attention: its description says the result may exceed the points normally available at the character’s current level. Use it only if that is the change you intend. A large preset is not required for a smaller currency or supply adjustment.

Equipment and appearance have existing-save limits

Equipped learned skills uses learned skills that fit existing equipment slots; duplicate equipped skills are rejected. Equipped Lumina passives has the equivalent restriction for existing passive slots, including rejection of duplicate passives on the same character.

Owned outfits and hairstyles selects an owned appearance that fits the saved entry. Treat that as an appearance-selection option, not a promise to unlock every cosmetic. These boundaries explain why the editor may offer different usable choices after inspecting two different saves from the same game.

The game listing was marked tested in this snapshot, but most individual options and presets did not carry their own tested flag. A tested game listing is not a guarantee that every option has been verified against your precise save and game update.

A clear import, edit and return workflow

1. Check the current game page and the membership details before downloading.
2. Open the NinjaSaves desktop app, sign in, and keep the computer and PS5 on the same home network.
3. Choose Import from PS5, follow the current console instructions, and wait until the selected save is stored in My saves.
4. Open that save and choose a small, deliberate set of edits. For example, review Chroma without also changing character levels, relationships and equipment.
5. Review the prepared result, follow Transfer to PS5, and wait for confirmation before checking the game.

Keep a separate backup of important progress before replacing it. The cloud library is temporary, and the expiry shown in the app matters. When the app offers the unmodified original, it can be sent back without applying edits; do not assume temporary cloud storage replaces your own backup.

Editing your save or choosing a completed save

Editing keeps the focus on your imported Expedition 33 save and selected changes. A ready-made 100% save is a separate product with somebody else’s recorded progress and its own availability and transfer requirements. Choose based on whether you want to adjust your current playthrough or start from a different progress state.

Does this require a PS5 jailbreak?

No. NinjaSaves documents a desktop workflow using the PS5’s built-in Data Transfer. Follow the app’s instructions rather than installing console software.

Will the weapon preset give me weapons I do not own?

No such item grant is described. Level 33 weapons and Pictos explicitly targets existing records and does not add missing items.

Does level 99 also finish the story or change XP?
