How it works

From your PS5 and back in four steps

Unlock access, download NinjaSaves, import your saves and choose supported edits. The desktop app guides you through each transfer.

  2. Step 2

    Download the desktop app

    Get NinjaSaves for Windows or Linux. Sign in with your username or email and password, then keep your computer and PS5 on the same home network.

    • Windows x64 installer — no administrator rights needed
    • Linux x64 Debian package for Ubuntu or Debian
    • Windows updates automatically; Linux through Downloads. macOS is coming soon

  3. Step 3

    Import your saves from PS5

    Choose Import from PS5 in the app and follow the connection wizard. Select your saves and wait until each one is confirmed in your cloud library.

    • Discover your PS5 over your home network
    • Follow the on-screen console instructions in order
    • Saves are held temporarily — check the expiry in My saves

  4. Step 4

    Apply supported edits and export

    Open My saves in the app and choose the available cheats and values for your save. Prepare the revision you want, then follow Export to PS5 to send it to your source console.

    • Preview the available options before applying changes
    • You can also send back an unmodified original
    • Wait for your PS5 to return home before starting another transfer

Your saves stay yours

Keep your own backup

Your cloud library is temporary. Check the expiry shown in the app and keep a separate backup of important progress.

Private to your account

Transfers use secure connections. Access to each save and its available actions is checked against your account.

Return to your PS5

The export wizard prepares your selected save for its source console and guides you through the transfer.
