Get started
- Check supported games and available edits before choosing a subscription.
- Download NinjaSaves Desktop for Windows x64 or Linux x64 (Debian / Ubuntu). macOS is coming soon.
- Sign in to the app, select a user on your PS5, and leave it on the home screen. Keep your computer and PS5 on the same home network.
Import, edit and transfer your save
Follow Import from PS5 in the app. After your saves have finished importing, open My saves and select a save to see the available edits. You can also transfer your original without applying edits.
When ready, choose Transfer to PS5 and follow the Export to PS5 wizard. Our Transfer Guide explains the full flow. For an overview, see How it works.
Connection or transfer trouble?
- Your console is not listed: check that the PS5 is on its home screen and both devices are on the same home network. Guest Wi-Fi and VPNs can prevent discovery. Open Diagnose in the signed-in app for connection checks.
- A step appears stuck: follow the current instruction in the app. Use Restart process or Cancel when offered, and wait for your console to return to its home screen before starting again.
- No edits are available: available edits depend on the game and imported save. Check the supported games; you can still transfer the original when the app offers that option.
- Your save has expired: import it again from your PS5. Saves are temporary, normally available for around 24 hours; use the expiry shown in the app.
Account and subscription help
Use the same NinjaSaves account on the website and in the desktop app. Downloads and desktop features require an active subscription. Review your plan and remaining allowance in your account.
