What does NinjaSaves do?

NinjaSaves is a desktop app for Windows and Linux. It imports your PS5 saves over your home network, lets you apply the supported cheats and presets for that game, and sends the edited save back to your PS5.

Which games are supported?

The Games page lists every supported PS5 game with its cheats and presets. Ninja Verified games have been tested by our team for that game version. Beta games are still being tested: cheats may not work with every game version, so keep a backup of your original save. Your exact save is checked when you import it in the app.

Which platforms are supported?

NinjaSaves works with supported PlayStation 5 saves. The desktop app is available for Windows x64 and Linux x64 (Debian/Ubuntu). macOS is coming soon. An active subscription is required to download and use the app.

How do import and export work?

Accepted Answer

Choose Import from PS5 to copy saves from your console into your cloud library. Follow the connection prompts, choose your saves, and wait until each one is stored. Open My saves to review an imported save and apply available cheats. Preview supported changes before applying them. Choose Export to PS5 when you are ready to send the prepared save back to your console. Keep the computer and PS5 on the same home network. After a transfer, wait for the PS5 home screen before starting the next one.

How does the subscription work?

Each Ninja Pass plan includes a monthly allowance of edited saves, from 5 a month to unlimited. Importing your saves is free: a save only counts when you send an edited save back and your PS5 confirms it received it. Sending your unedited original never counts, and a transfer that is stopped or not confirmed is not counted. When the allowance is used, sending more edited saves pauses until the next calendar month (UTC), or you can upgrade your plan at any time. Prices and allowances are shown on Pricing. Cancel any time from Account → Subscription; you keep access until the end of the paid period.

Is my original save kept?

Imported saves are held in the cloud temporarily, normally for around 24 hours, so you can apply changes and send them back. Your original save stays on the PS5 until you export a changed one. Keep your own backup of the original, especially for Beta games.

What should I check if my PS5 is not found?

Accepted Answer

Keep the PC and PS5 on the same home network. Guest networks and VPNs can prevent discovery. Allow NinjaSaves through the firewall on your private home network, then search again. Follow the current instruction in the connection wizard. Only when prompted, press the PS5 power button for less than a second, then wait for it to restart into Transfer Data mode. Do not hold the button down.

How long do I stay signed in to the app?

You stay signed in until you sign out, remove the device under Account → Devices on the website, or change your password. On Windows the app updates itself: it installs new versions at startup or while idle, then reopens. On Linux, get the current package from Downloads. Your cloud saves stay with your account.
